1. For which surface is GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® suitable?

2. How long does GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® last for?

Industrial processors who work with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® coatings grant warranties of up to 10 years. Apart from that, the durability very much depends on external conditions and, above all, the amount of wear on the coated surface.

3. Can GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® be applied several times?

GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® can only be applied again when the old coating has been removed and the underlying surface has been thoroughly cleaned.

4. Can GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® be removed again?

Yes, using our GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® Remover.

5. Does GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® damage or change the surfaces?

No, GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® merely affects the anti-slip properties of the coated surfaces. Apart from that there are no other changes.

6. Does GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® change the colour of the treated surface?

No.

7. Is GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GriP® an acid treatment?

No. In contrast to other anti-slip products, the surface is neither etched nor treated chemically.

8. Is the anti-slip treatment with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® suitable for internal spaces?

Yes. Surfaces solely walked on with bare feet should be coated with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® Bathroom; all other surfaces in internal spaces can be coated with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® Floor.

9. Is the anti-slip treatment with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® suitable for external spaces?

10. Is GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® also suitable for surfaces that are in permanent contact with water?

We also have a solution for this. GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® Floor that can only be applied in a special process is exclusively available from us, since only our team can carry out the treatment. Please get in touch with us if you require this.

11. How is GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® applied?

12. Is GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® weather-resistant?

Yes, GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® is also suitable for external areas and is frost-proof and UV-resistant.

13. How long does it take to apply the anti-slip coating with GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® ?

Once the underlying surface has been thoroughly cleaned, it takes about 15 minutes to coat a shower or bathtub. In other areas, the amount of time required very much depends on the respective conditions.

14. Is dirt created when treating surfaces with GriP AntiSlip® ?

The used materials can be disposed of in the normal household waste.

15. Does the GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® treatment create any noise?

No.

16. Does the coating discolour as a result of UV radiation?

No. GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® is UV-resistant.

17. Black surfaces: What should be considered?

GriP AntiSlip / SWISS GRIP® also works on black underground e.g. black tiles or tubs. However, since black as a color is inherently delicate, it should be worked very carefully. Especially fluff or other particles on the surface to be coated should be avoided at all costs. For coatings on very dark surfaces, we therefore recommend that these be applied by experienced users.
