The kindergarten level for 4-6 year olds is housed in a building with outdoor terraces. The covered verandas are an invitation to romp and run. However, the wooden decking was slippery and there were unsightly slipping accidents and falls. GriP was commissioned to make the wooden terrace non-slip. The wooden decking boards were then treated with the GRIP spray system and since then have the highest slip resistance C and R11 for wet surfaces.
Ergo, whether the wooden decking is wet, damp or dry, with the anti-slip coating the slip resistance is now practically perceptible, regardless of how people run, jump or romp on the wooden decking.
