An anti-slide coating is a coating that makes it less easy to slip – especially on wet or smooth materials such as wood, tiles, or metal. In short: more grip = more safety.
GriP New Wood is a transparent anti-slide coating that creates a non-slip surface without changing the appearance of the wood or the wood itself. The additional grip is created by the profiled surfaces of the coating. The anti-slide coating also protects the wood surface from moisture and other weather influences. The anti-slide coating remains grippy even in rain or moisture, thus reducing the risk of accidents (falls, slips).
The house in the countryside is surrounded by wooden terraces, which are slippery not only when wet and rainy, but also due to the smooth surface structure of the wood. The sixth and last photo of the property clearly shows where the anti-slide coating has already dried somewhat, where it is still wet and shiny, and the wooden planks on the far right that have not yet been coated.
