Floor covering in retail store becomes anti-slip.

Transparent safety coating on tiles in a retail store: industrial flooring is subsequently made non-slip.

Loading stores are very busy with customer traffic, especially if they are located in well-frequented shopping streets. The constant coming and going carries wet weather directly into the entrance floor. Whether it's dripping umbrellas or wet footwear, puddles, wet film and mud spread with the busy rush of customers.

After the slip accident and fall of a customer on the first floor, the safety concept of the flooring was reviewed and solutions were sought to retrofit the porcelain stoneware tiles on the first floor to make them slip-resistant. The store's tile flooring was treated with our safety coating by first priming the floor and then spraying on an anti-slip coating using the GriP spray system.

As can be seen in the photos, the anti-slip coating is transparent and can only be seen when the light is at a favorable angle. The picturesque tiles thus retain their appearance and the anti-slip properties, while not visible, are guaranteed with a tested R11 anti-slip rating.
