Spa: An alternative to anti-slip mats.
Instead of using anti-slip mats in the spa, the slippery tiles were treated with GriP non-slip coating.
The tiles in the luxurious spa of the 5-star hotel were slippery when wet. Therefore, as seen in the photos, the pool surround and pathways in the spa were equipped with anti-slip mats. Anti-slip mats shift, form wrinkles, and are not only unsightly but also difficult to clean. An alternative anti-slip solution to the anti-slip mats was sought.
For 20 years, SWISSGriP has been treating slippery tiles with our transparent anti-slip coating. The existing flooring is preserved and, with SWISSGriP, achieves the highest slip resistance class, C. For spa and swimming pool areas, a permanent non-slip coating is also more hygienic, longer-lasting, and visually superior to loose anti-slip mats.
