Slippery floor is slip-proof with GriP

Slip-proof with GriP Anti-Slip. Slippery corridor and ramp of a hospital are coated slip-resistant.

The Stadtspital Triemli is an ultra-modern center hospital in the city of Zurich with a supra-regional catchment area and a nationwide reputation. The ward block opened in 2016 is the most modern ward block in Switzerland and has a total of 18 floors. 13 floors of which have patient rooms and 5 floors for operations and technology.
Around 25,000 inpatients and 170,000 outpatients as well as 57,000 emergencies (2018) are treated annually at the Stadtspital Triemli - with state-of-the-art, human touch and around the clock. The work processes, especially in the new ward block, are designed to be patient-friendly and enable employees to work ergonomically and efficiently.

One of the hospital's corridor floors was slippery, and a ramp increased the risk of slipping for the 2900 employees and patients. The stoneware tiles were given a slip-resistant coating with GriP AntiSliP using a spray process, slip resistance R11. With the safety coating from GriP Safety Coatings, everyone can now walk down the corridor and concentrate on their work or recovery.

Slip-resistant tiles with GriP mean safety for the user - whether in commercial, public or private areas. They minimise the risk of falling and are therefore highly recommended, especially on walkways. Tiles coated with SWISSGriP do not change their appearance and the invisible safety coating on the surface therefore blends in perfectly with any environment.
