Slippery concrete steps outside.

Concrete steps in the garden are slippery and are treated to make them slip-resistant.

Concrete steps in outdoor areas are a robust and durable solution, especially for terraces, gardens or entrance areas. They are resistant to weathering if treated correctly to prevent cracks or wear. However, concrete can become very slippery when damp or wet, as the material has a smooth surface that easily retains a film of water.

Pre-cleaning, applying bonding agent, coating

GriP was commissioned to treat the slippery concrete steps to make them non-slip. First, the concrete steps were cleaned and our bonding agent was applied. This step is part of the anti-slip treatment for absorbent and porous surfaces such as concrete. A bonding agent creates a firmly adhering surface and ensures that the new layer adheres better and permanently to the concrete. GSAG anti-slip coating was then applied to the concrete steps using a spray method.
