266 hotel shower trays receive a permanent anti-slip shower mat with GriP.
The new Premier Inn at Berlin Airport was about to open when it was discovered that the built-in shower trays were not slip-resistant. The British operator, which is committed to sustainability and accessibility, was therefore looking for a short-term anti-slip solution for the new shower trays.
GriP anti-slip applications are shower mats that remain permanently on the shower tray. The shower mats are not laid on top, but rolled on using a paint roller. Due to their transparency, GriP shower tray applications are barely noticeable. The improved floor adhesion on the shower tray, on the other hand, is pleasantly noticeable and provides a feeling of safety when showering.
The slippery shower trays did not need to be replaced, but were simply upgraded with the permanent anti-slip solution from GriP. Within four days, the GriP shower mats had been applied to all 266 shower trays and have since been classified as anti-slip class C/P4 medium.
