Stairway steps refurbished to be slip-resistant

The entrance to a nursing home is refurbished with an anti-slip coating

Every homeowner is confronted with the refurbishment of stair treads at some point. Whether indoors or outdoors, steps eventually become slippery and walking on them unsafe.

However, before the stair flooring is torn out, the old building material is disposed of and replaced with new flooring, options for sustainable refurbishment can be examined. If the statics and the covering of the stair treads are still intact, an anti-slip treatment can be the solution for renovation. Persistent stains are also removed by the basic cleaning Prior to the anti-slip treatment.

After GriP Safety Coatings had already treated the tiles in the interior of the care facility to make them slip-resistant a few years earlier, the management approached us again to renovate the now slippery exterior entrances to make them slip-proof. The ceramic tiles of the entrance were treated with SWISSGriP and are now slip-resistant in all weather conditions.
