Marble floors with anti-slip coating.
Natural stone floors and stairs in the Talise Spa made non-slip.
The Burj al Arab belongs to the Jumeirah Group and is one of the most luxurious and famous hotels in the world. The 321 m high hotel in the shape of a sail is considered an architectural icon and landmark of the city of Dubai.
On the 18th floor and spanning 2 floors is the luxurious Talise Spa with 16 wellness areas. The infinity pools, steam baths, whirlpools, saunas, plunge pools and the spa have been fitted with Statuario marble floors. The many colours of the tiles and mosaics are clearly visible in the pictures. More than 30 different types of Statuario marble were used for the interior design of the resort.
The hotel management turned to GriP to provide a non-slip coating for the marble floors in the Talise Spa. Our GriP team on site first carried out a trial coating and after a few months the entire spa was covered with the transparent safety coating.
Guests can now admire the magnificent play of colours in the tiles and mosaics and at the same time move around on wet and damp floors without slipping.
