Slip resistant floor in canteen kitchen and walkways.

Canteen kitchen and corridor with SWISS GRIP floor. Tiles are now slip resistant class R11.

Founded in 1850, Luzerner Kantonalbank is the leading bank in Canton Lucerne. The floor tiles of the walkways and the canteen kitchen were slippery. With SWISS GRIP coatings the managent found a transparent and hygenic solution to establish a slip-proof work environment for their employees.

Whether in commercial work areas or public buildings, floors should always be level, non-slip, sure-footed and easy to clean. This is what professional associations and statutory accident insurance institutions demand. Studies by the insurance companies have shown that slipping is the most common cause of accidents. SWISS GriP anti-slip coatings for the slip resistance of floors are assigned to the various slip resistance levels by means of standardised test procedures "test on an inclined plane". An inclined surface is walked on with safety shoes. Oil is used as a sliding medium. The slip resistance class R11 is suitable for surfaces that are constantly in contact with oil and water, such as bakeries, dishwashing rooms, laboratories or canteens and canteens.
