Philip Morris has been based in Neuchâtel since 1964. The campus includes a large production facility, the global PMI Research and Development Center and the Innovation Development Center. With more than 1500 employees, the Neuchâtel Campus is a place where Swiss quality and innovation meet.
Philip Morris attaches great importance to occupational safety for its employees. After employees reported slippery floors in the shower rooms and slippery accidents occurred, the company looked for a non-slip solution for the slippery floors. A local tile cutter drew the company's attention to GriP Safety Coatings and within a few weeks the shower rooms were coated with SWISSGriP Bathroom. The GriP spay system was used to quickly and easily make the tile floors slip-resistant using a spray gun. Since then, the floors of the 28 shower rooms and changing rooms have been non-slip and employees can use the shower facilities safely.
