Granite slabs with slip resistance.

Slippery granite floor slabs in the garden and pool area are coated with R11 slip resistance.

Granite is an ideal flooring material for outdoor use as it is extremely resistant to weather conditions such as rain, sun, frost, and temperature fluctuations.

The entrance to the single-family home leads through the garden via stairs. The walkway, like the terraces, pool deck, and pool area, is paved with granite slabs. Although the granite used is naturally rough and open-pored, it was slippery when wet.

It was therefore decided to increase the slip resistance of the granite floor slabs. The granite was given R11 slip resistance by treating the granite slabs with our transparent and weather-resistant anti-slip coating using a spray system. As granite, like other natural stones (marble, limestone, etc.), is open-pored, an adhesion promoter was applied beforehand.
