Mirror smooth tiles become non-slip.
Polished tiles at indoor pool are treated with anti slip coating.
The speckled tiles in this indoor pool are highly polished. In the pictures, you can see the effect of how they reflect the tile panels in different colors depending on the light. The beautiful tile shine has the disadvantage that these are actually mirror smooth. If then to smooth tiles also come through the spa humidity and water splashes, there is little chance to visit the beautiful pool environment non-slip.
The new owners of the private pool contacted GriP and reported the slippery floor tiles, especially when wet. Our application service arrived and made the spa and pool environment of 48sqm slip resistant within a few hours. Already the next morning, the indoor pool could be used again - this time without the danger of slipping.
As you can see on the photos, the polished tile shine is still visible, only the transparent anti slip coating - you can't see it :-)
