Slippery tiles in petrol station shop receive anti-slide covering with slip resistance R12.
The large petrol station shop is popular not only because of its extensive range of products, but also because of its generous opening hours. Even online orders with collection are possible. Customer traffic is high and the sales areas are busy.
Rain and snow lead to wet shoes, which in turn lead to wet flooring. Dirt-trapping mats at the shop entrance help to catch snow and moisture, but some of the moisture always ends up being spread around the sales area. The floor tiles were very slippery when wet, leading to accidents. The shop operator was looking for an anti-slip covering for the floor tiles that was suitable for large-scale use and could withstand very high customer traffic.
The anti-slide covering used is durable, has an R12 slip resistance rating and, as with all large areas, was applied using a spray method.
