Rehabilitation pool with anti-slip treatment.

Retrofitted slip resistance for therapy pool at Swiss Children's Rehabilitation Center.

A therapy pool for children is a specially designed swimming pool that is used for therapeutic purposes, especially for children with physical disabilities, injuries, or other conditions that impair their mobility or range of motion. These pools are heated to a comfortable temperature and are usually equipped with ramps, lifts, and rails that allow children to enter and exit safely.

Overall, it is important to prioritize slip resistance in rehabilitation facilities to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Non-slip flooring prevents the risk of slipping accidents and falls.

Anti-slip treatment
To increase slip resistance, the tiles in the therapy pool were treated with GriP Anti-Slip Slip Class GB2 /C / R11. SWISSGriP coatings are applied to tiles and other types of flooring to create a textured surface that provides better traction.
