In Germany, if your are classified in a Care Level, you can apply to your nursing care insurance fund for reimbursement of the costs for using a SWISS GRIP coating as part of adaptations to your living space in accordance with § 40 SGB XI (Social Insurance Code).

 

Measures that improve your living conditions are subsidised by up to 4.000 euros per measure, without requiring the insured person to pay excess.

To do this, the nursing care insurance requires a corresponding application and a cost estimate/quotation for the necessary anti-slip coatings.

Where and how is the application for reimbursement of costs made?

You can obtain the application form for your SWISSGriP anti-slip coating directly from your care insurance company. Most nursing care insurance companies make the application available online as a download. However, the application form can also be ordered by telephone from the nursing care insurance company.
